I love to take pictures and wish I had much more time
to do it.
My main interests are in Landscape, nature and dereliction but I'd like to get more proficient in flash
photography in the future. .
I believe that both the taking and processing of a photo can be of equal importance, so
I try not to place any restrictions on how I work on my images and so I do what I feel is best in achieving the look I have
in mind, be it minimal colour balance or way out photoshopping. It's all about creating an image and doing what makes
you happy.

About me A brief history I started back in spring 2003 with a small Nikon E775
digital compact that I bought for taking family snaps. I soon became more interested in other subjects of photography
such as landscapes and animals. Within a couple of months I decided that I needed to upgrade to an SLR camera, digital SLRs
were way out of my price range so I settled on a Nikon F65 twin lens kit. Later I got an F75 body and a Sigma 135-400mm lens.
Until Jan06 I had been using slide film and had been scanning them into photoshop, but with the price of digital bodies dropping
(and the fact that my film scanner packed up) I ended up buying a Nikon D50 and more recently the Sigma 18-50mm HSM EX F2.8
DC Marcro lens. So this is my current gear along with a few filters, remote shutter release, tripod, beanbag and camouflage
gear for the wildlife stuff.
Since late 2008 I've been delving into the world of Urban exploration and dereliction and this has become one of my favourite subjects to photograph, but has led my photography to have a much darker feel.
